Happy Birthday Jane!

Happy Birthday Jane! So for those of you who don't know Jane, she is one of my best friends ever! Although we've drifted apart these past few years I know that we'll always stay friends. I hope that you have an amazing birthday Jane, because you absolutely deserve it. You are the kindest, sweetest, most fun and thoughtful people I've ever met! You always put others first and always try to include everyone. You always brighten my day and are so much fun to be with! You are always there for me and I can trust you with any secrets. Thanks for being such an amazing friend all of these years. A couple of memories that you and I have include:

-original plays
-going to movies/plays with your mom every Friday night
-Irish Dance
-the wonderful/crone Sheila
-so many sleepovers
-living 2 houses down as kids
-Tom walking me home every night with his night vision goggles
-eating dinner at your house like every night
-our original TV show "Odd and Even"
-our "annual" sleepover
-Korn
-ICP

and many more!

I hope you have an amazing birthday and I'm super sorry that I'm out of town for your birthday. Have a fabulous day and I hope that you get everything that you want for your birthday!

I love you to the moon and back!

Have an amazing birthday Lil J/Ivy Joz!

Drill Camp

I've mentioned in many posts that I was on my school's Drill Team (Poms) for the fall and winter seasons. And this summer, a bunch of the girls that were on the team had an option to go to a dance camp with the team! I immediately took advantage of this opportunity and signed up to go right away! I'm very excited for this weekend, but I am extremely nervous because I've heard that this camp is so intense! I've heard that girls literally fight to get to the front of the room so that they can see the instructor better and learn the choreography better.

I'm planning on just doing my best, but also being very competitive and assertive because that's the only way to succeed in these types of things. But, the upside of this camp (other than learning tons of new dances, and growing as a dancer) is that we got new outfits! Our coaches purchased our outfits so that we all match and they are cute and sparkly! I would show you some pictures, but they have my school name on them so I don't think that's the best idea.

Anyways, there's a little bit of information about my weekend that I'm super excited about! I have a lot to do today to prepare for this weekend because we leave at 9 on Friday morning. I still have a list of things to do, because I'm awful at planning ahead. Wish me luck at the camp!

P. S. Happy Birthday to my Grandpa May who is turning 80 today! Yeehoo!

P. P. S. Whenever I get my new camera I will be posting a video about my fashion rack which has been requested by some people on YouTube and some of my friends.

Poolside Fitness

Hey everyone! So in honor of the previous "What I'm Doing Wednesday" posts, I wanted to sort of stick to the same theme and talk about what I'm doing today, which is fitness by the pool! I spent the night at my friend Grace's house after going to a pool party hosted by Jacob Schaider (he wanted to be mentioned in this blog) and a few other friends. So anyways, Grace and I will be completing this workout tomorrow morning to get those perfect summer beach bodies! Here is out workout/fitness routine set for tomorrow:

1. stretch
2. 2 laps around the block
3. 30 jumping jacks
4. 30 crunches
5. 1 lap around the block
6. 15 push ups
7. 15 left lifts on each leg
8. 40 second v-holds, 2 reps (take a 30-60 second rest between each rep)
9. 45 second plank
10. 20 squats
11. 30 second wall sit
12. stretch some more
13.REPEAT- repeat everything, except if you feel that you have stretched enough then you don't need to stretch again, but...
14. stretch when you finish your workout
15. jump in the pool!

Thank you for reading and thank you Jacob for hosting a super fun party and to Grace for letting me sleepover and for doing this workout with me! Thanks so much for reading!

New Camera

Hey everyone! So in my What's in my Bag? video I talked about how I was obsessed with getting a new camera. I want one so badly and am very determined to get it! So, I wanted to share with y'all what type of camera I will be buying (so far) and why I want this specific one and just basic facts about the camera.

1. So the main reason why I want a new camera is for my YouTube channel. I've wanted to start a YouTube channel for the longest time, and now with this blog I thought it'd make sense to accompany the blog with YouTube videos. Also, I've been very into photography lately and want to improve my photography skills and to do this you sort of need a high quality camera.

2. My old camera which was just a regular Flip camera broke recently and I've been eager to replace it, but my phone just doesn't do the trick. I really want a high quality camera to record video so I decided just to opt for a really nice one.

3. A camera that can go far to me is really important. I think that spending an good amount of money on a high quality camera is definitely worth it because when you buy a nice camera it can go far. You can continually use it for many years before replacing it. Plus, with a high quality camera you can buy new lenses if you want to step up your photography game.

This is the camera that I'm hoping to purchase.

This is the Canon EOS Rebel T3i with the 18-55 mm IS II Lens

So I opted for this camera instead of just the Canon EOS T3 because the T3i has better video recording. The T3 only records in 720HD, while the T3i records in 1080HD. Although this camera is more expensive than the T3, it is worth it. In addition the viewing screen on the back of the camera flips out and can be flipped out and turned around so that you can look into the viewfinder if you're filming yourself. This makes everything so much more convenient, and the T3 does not have this feature. This may all sound a little bit confusing, and trust me I do not know what I'm talking about, but these are the facts that make sense to me and these are the main reasons why I opted for the T3i instead of just the T3.

Thanks so much for reading!

Sunday Pinnings

So here are some of my favorite pins from this week. Ever since I deleted all of the games from my phone, since I played them way to much, I've been pretty addicted to going on my Pinterest app and pinning so many things. Be sure to follow me on Pinterest and check out my newest board on Pinterest of photography because I've been super interested in photography lately. Happy Sunday!

Flirty Friday: Resort Looks

So my parents are heading out on a tropical vacation soon and I'm very jealous that I'm not going. But, I have no reason to complain because I've been on many trips this year already, and I'm heading out of town for some fun this weekend. So in inspiration from the tropical vibe, I wanted to show you guys these three looks for the resort. Whenever I go on trips with my family, we usually go with my dads work. My day usually consists of chilling by the pool/beach, doing some sort of activity (not everyday, but at some point in the trip), and then going to a dinner party later that evening. So these are the three looks that suffice for those three occasions. Thanks so much for reading!

Summer Popsicle Recipes

Hey everyone! So today I wanted to share with you a couple super fun and healthy recipes for popsicles! With the summer being extremely hot, I like to have something cold to cool me off. But, the traditional popsicle just doesn’t do it for me. I really only like homemade popsicles, just because I’m weird like that. So, let’s get into these recipes!

Pure Fruit
  • water
  • various fruits (all of your favorite)
  • popsicle mold

I saw the idea for this popsicle from MacBarbie07 on YouTube last summer, and I thought the idea was outstanding. They are super healthy for you because literally they are fruit and water. This will keep you hydrated, but add a little funky sweetness to your popsicle.

All you do is cut up your desired fruits, pop them into the mold and add water to fill the empty space. Then freeze your popsicles until they are completely frozen. Then enjoy!

Tip: If your popsicles are stuck in the mold, run the mold under warm water until the popsicle slides out of the mold with ease.

More of a Treat
  • popsicle mold
  • Sprite/lemon or lime flavored Water (take your pick, carbonated vs. non-carbonated)
  • gummy bears

So these popsicles are not the healthiest, but everything in moderation. These are fun if you’re looking for a sweeter and more sugary popsicle for a fun junk food (that won’t leave you feeling all gross after eating).

So for this recipe simply add your drink to the mold until it is about 2/3 full. Then drop in your desired amount of gummy bears. Then just pop your molds into the freezer until they fully freeze! These are not very healthy, so don’t eat too many, but they are a fun treat for the summertime!

Breakfast Popsicles
  • popsicle mold
  • favorite juice to drink in the morning (orange juice, apple juice, etc.)

My mom used to always make these for my brother and I when we were younger and they are perfect for breakfast! All you do is simply pour your favorite breakfast juice into the mold and just put them into the freezer until they solidify. Then enjoy them for breakfast the next morning, or just have them as a treat whenever it’s hot!

Layered Kool-Aid
  • Kool-Aid mixes in your favorite flavors (3 different flavors)
  • water
  • popsicle mold

I tried making these popsicles last Fourth of July and they turned out great! All you have to do is mix the Kool-Aid following the directions on the packaging. The great thing about Kool-Aid is that it is so inexpensive (and can also be used for hair dye!). So just mix your Kool-Aid and then pour your first flavor until the mold is about 1/3 full. Wait until this flavor fully freezes and then you can pour in your next flavor filling it another 1/3 up. Then finally finish off the popsicles with your last flavor. Wait until it is fully molded and frozen and then you can enjoy them! They are a little time consuming, and if you really need a quick popsicle just mix some Kool-Aid and just use one flavor to make a popsicle. These popsicles are really sugary, so definitely don't eat a ton of them, but they make a fun summer treat.

Hope you enjoyed reading about these fabulous summer popsicles and let me know how everything goes if you give them a try! Email me pictures at preppydaily@gmail.com if you try any of the recipes out. Thanks for reading!

What I'm Doing Wednesday

Hey everyone. So in tradition from my last post, I wanted to share with you a quick update before I get into What I’m Doing Wednesday. So this week I have been doing a lot of babysitting and saving up my money! I desperately want a new camera, and am determined to get it! Even if that means saving up my money and putting a stop to my shopping. Other than that, these week I have just been hanging with friends really. On Tuesday I went to a local breakfast place for brunch with a couple of my friends and have just been babysitting other than that.

So this Wednesday I will be relaxing and just taking a break from waking up early to babysit. The only thing on the agenda is to get my nails done with Paige. Then I'm babysitting in the evening, but there's really not much structure to my day. I think this will allow for me to sleep in after not being able to for these past few days.

A quick note that I wanted to tell you guys about is that this weekend I’m heading down to my friend Riley's lakehouse. I mentioned me wanting to go there in my post about Summer's Coming, and was happily surprised when I was invited to go again! I’m super excited because it was so much fun last year! The group is the same, but there is one more person coming in addition to who came last year. It is such a fun group and I can’t wait to go and have fun! I will also post pictures from that excursion as soon as I get back on Sunday. Keeping this in mind, I’ll still have posts up each scheduled day (Thursday, Friday and Sunday of this week), but I will probably not check my email while I’m up there. So, if I don’t respond to your email until I get back late Sunday night.

P.S. I've started to put up my posts at midnight again, because the 9AM time was really starting to agitate me.

Have you been doing anything fun this week?

Tuesday Talks: What's In My Bag?

With summer here I wanted to start a new summer video series called Tuesday Talks. These have really nothing to do with like discussion or talking, but just simply are me uploading videos to my YouTube channel PreppyDaily. I've always really loved YouTube videos and now that I have this blog I thought it'd be a good idea to keep steady videos to accompany my blog.

So to start out the Tuesday Talks I wanted to film a what's in my bag video so that you guys could see my essentials for when I go out during the summer. This also sort of falls under the category of Tag Tuesday because this video is supposed to be a tag video (I think...). Well, anyways, here's the video. Thanks so much for watching and tell me what you think and go subscribe to my channel on YouTube!

Fave Photo Editing Apps

So the majority of the population these days, have iPhones (or Smartphones), so I thought I'd share with you a few of my favorite photo editing apps. I love editing my photos before I post them on Instagram. I love using double filters (aka using a filter before using one of the Instagram filters) and also adding fun effects or a cool border to my photos. So, here are a few of my favorite photo editing apps. Keep in mind that all of these apps (except for one) cost money, but honestly I feel like they are worth the money if you'll use them a lot. I feel that the apps that are free, they are usually low quality. But, the upside is that these apps will never cost more than $1.99, so it's not like you are paying a fortune. Anyways, here are my favorite photo apps (in no particular order)!

1. Diptic- I am so happy that I discovered this app! This app allows you to collage photos for OOTD's and add shapes and frames. This app is awesome and I literally love it so much. It works really well and definitely check it out in the app store.

2. Lumie- This app is really cool because it lets you add prints on top of your photos. It allows you to add hearts, glitter or even dots on top of your photo. It's a little hard to explain, but definitely check it out so you can see its full potential.

3. Wood Camera- I saw this app just as one of the top photo editing apps and decided to give it a try. This app is really good because it has a plethora of filters to jazz up your photos and add a fun look to it.

4. Afterlight- Similar to Wood Camera, Afterlight allows you to add filters into your pictures. This app used to be called Afterglow, but just recently changed its name to Afterlight. This app has really cool filters that add dimension to any photo.

5. TimerCam- This doesn't necessarily go along with the photo editing app theme, but I usually use this app if I'm trying to get a selfie or group photo, but don't want to have to hold my camera and snap the photo that second. This app is free and is super great! It's so convenient to be able to set a certain time (5, 10, ... seconds) for when you want your camera to snap a pic. I used this to get some amazing shots in the sunlight today. Here's a quick look at my #selfiesunday photo shoot. If you follow me on Instagram then you've already seen this pic, but if you don't then GO FOLLOW ME.

Thanks so much for reading.

What's your favorite photo editing app?

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day! So instead of my regular Sunday post I wanted to wish everyone (and their father's) a happy and amazing father's day! My dad is the funniest and greatest person I've ever met and he has never failed to make me smile! I love him so much and he means the world to me! Some of my dad's favorite things include Oreos, Coca-Cola, his BMW, his technology, and having his favorite songs on his iPod to jam out to in his car. My dad is actually the funniest person in the entire world and I hope that he has an amazing father's day because he is seriously the best person in the world. And he obviously has swag. So here's a few pics of my dad and I because we are one swag family.

Love you so much dad!

Have an amazing father's day everyone!

Flirty Friday

Hope everyone is having an amazing Friday and rocking a fun look. Hope you like this look! I thought the nautical stripes were super fun, and what better way to pair stripes than with J.Crew chinos! Also, I love these Tory Burch flats, and although they are not ideal for walking around the town, they do make an adorable fashion statement. Have a fab Friday!

Summer Music

Okay, so this post I thought was supposed to go up today at 9AM like usual, but for some reason I had scheduled it for Friday, so I'm really sorry that it wasn't up this morning. So anyway, here's the post!

So I love music and I really have been loving some songs for the summer! I think that these songs are really fun to just jam out with to your friends, and when I went to a bonfire and was asked to make a playlist, this was the playlist that I made. I hope you like it.  Thanks for reading!

My 2 new additions are L.A. Story by Sammy Adams and Next to Me by Emeli Sandé.

What I'm Doing Wednesday

Hey y'all! So here's a real quick update that I wanted to include in my new "What I'm Doing Wednesday". I think every Wednesday I'll include a quick update as well, just to keep y'all on track!

So today, I went shopping with my cousin Carly and we hit up some fab stores! I had like no money (spent it all on Thursday with Paige), so I made the most with the money that I did have.

I made 3 purchases, and 2 out of the 3 were fabulous deals!

So this first thing I purchased was this adorable Tory Burch case! I saw this case and I literally died and knew that it was so nautical and cute! Plus, it was Tory so it just combined all of my favorite things into one. I got this at Nordstrom and it was $45, so not the best deal for a phone case, but not too bad of a price. I've been using my J.Crew anchor phone case for a while now, so I decided I could take the splurge and get a new one.

Next, I found this adorable dress from American Eagle. I have 2 American Eagle dresses already, and they are all more or less the same because they all have cut outs. I love cut outs because I think they are so cute and fun for the summertime, but never reveal too much skin. This book is a fun lime green, and is extremely comfortable and super cute!

So the last thing that I bought was this super fun romper from Target! This romper is so fun with the adorable polka dot pattern. I also got it at an amazing steal as it was only $6.88! It was 70% from the original price, and my cousin also scored an adorable ombre sweatshirt (that I had bought a few weeks ago for $20) for $6.88! It was a great steal and I'm super glad we walked into Target!

Okay, so after that little update here's what I'm doing this Wednesday.

Today I'm planning on getting a few things done.

1. Definitely going to FFC (workout center) or going on a run with my friend Ava.
2. Writing some more blog posts for the future (it's good to be ahead of schedule).
3. Scheduling out my summer so I can busy myself with things to do.
4. Heading to Paper Source to get some nautical cards for letters to friends.
5. Figuring out what DIY I'm going to do for DIY Monday, and maybe even doing the DIY tomorrow!

Hope you're having a fab Wednesday.

☼ Summer Tag ☼

So I have done tags before, but here's a fun one for the start of summer: the summer tag! So without further adieu, let's get into the tag! P.S. There will be some pictures incorporated in this tag as well so that you guys can see each of my answers to the questions. Leave a comment if you think I should make a tag video at some point! Also, my blog posts will be up at 9AM Pacific time from now on!

1. What's your favorite summer nail polish?

These nail polishes are perfect for summer. Plus, they are two of my favorite colors! The first one is Minted by Revlon, and the second one is Hazard by Sinful Colors.

2. What's your favorite lip color this summer?

This is the Covergirl Natureluxe Balm Stain in Coral and this is perfect for summer! It moisturizes really well and has SPF 15. As you can probably see, I always take this to the beach with me, hence the sand on the packaging!

3. Show us your favorite summer dress.

This dress is so summery with it's white body, but colorful accents on the top. I absolutely love the cutouts on the side as well. This dress is from American Eagle and is so perfect for the summertime!

4. What is your favorite summer accessory?

Always gotta have a floppy sun hat for those days at the beach. Mine is from Forever 21 and is striped navy and royal blue.

I love wearing stacked bracelets in the summer and these are two of my favorites. My anchor bracelet is from Etsy and my pearls are from Forever 21.

I always use my Lilly agenda in the summer to keep track of all my events and make sure that I don't overbook myself. It's so convenient and well worth the money!

I always love wearing sunglasses in the summer, but have never actually gone to purchase a pricey pair. This is probably because I know that I will just wreck them. These are perfect because they are so cute, and were only about $4 from Target. Love them!

5. What summer trends are you most excited about this year?

I'm super excited for neon colors and just customizing all your clothes. What I mean by "customizing your clothes" is how everyone is spicing up cheap clothes that they buy from the thrift stores, and I probably won't do this, but it gives more of a custom look to your own style.

6. What is your favorite summer candle?

This candle smells amazing! It is White Sand from Slatkin and Co. (Bath and Body Works).

7. What is your favorite body spray and perfume?

You can probably tell that I love this perfume because it's almost empty! I've already gone through a bigger one of these as well. This is my absolute favorite scent. It is Dream from Gap and it smells amazing!

8. What is the weather like where you live in summer?

Where I live we have hot summers and cold winters. This summer so far has been pretty mild, and a little cool at times, but I'm sure it will warm up. Then again, Chicago can be pretty bipolar about weather.

9. What is your favorite thing about summer?

My favorite thing about summer is not having school. I absolutely loooovveee not going to school everyday. I don't actually mind going to school, it's just the homework that follows that really agitates me.

10. What are your plans for summer vacation?

This summer I will most definitely be hitting the pool, going to the beach, going shopping (a lot), and then babysitting to reimburse myself with money. I don't like to have too much going on in the summer, because it is summer and I like to relax. I'm heading up to Wisconsin at some point with my entire mom's side of the family, and am going to Drill (Poms) Camp and Badminton camp as well.

P.S. My dad and I are both wearing purple today!

We both look super awkward in this photo though. It's too early to be photogenic.

Getting Back on Track

I've been such a terrible blogger these days with summer beginning and me busying myself with random things to do. I'm super sorry that I've been so busy and been lacking posts these last few weeks, but I wanted to share with you that I will be on track starting tomorrow! Today, my cousin Carly is in town and we are just going to be seeing a movie and then tomorrow I'm going shopping again downtown. But, I'm really really sorry that I haven't been posting these days, but fear not! I will be back on track ASAP.

Real quick, I wanted to show you a few pictures of my sister from her graduation party and she looked absolutely gorgeous! The funny thing was that we actually couldn't get in the stadium for seats because they closed the stadium before the graduation even started! We had to stand outside and watch, but actually the seats were quite worth it because after we were the first ones on the field to grab my sister and get some pictures. There are not a ton, because my mom attempted to use her actual camera for most of the pictures instead of her iPhone and she doesn't have the cord to transfer pictures from her camera to the computer. Anyways, expect my postings to go ABSOLUTELY back to normal after today. Thanks so much for reading.

This is my sister Kristen on graduation. Her dress is from Rent The Runway, where you basically pay a fraction of the dress cost to wear a designer dress. This was perfect for Kristen because she wanted a fabulous dress, but really didn't need to buy one because she would never wear it again.

This is Kristen and her bo Ian. They looked so cute on graduation!

Talk to y'all tomorrow!

Sunday Pinning

I hope your Sunday is swell. Mine sure will be! Today I'll be going out to breakfast with the fam, going on a run with my friend Ava and then heading to my sisters graduation! After the graduation, we're hosting her party at our house! I will be wearing a navy and coral/poppy dress with seahorses on it. Pictures soon to follow on Monday (this weekend has been pretty hectic so I'm skipping out on the DIY for Monday, but one will definitely be up next Monday)! Thanks for reading!

Fitness

Okay I am probably the worst at being healthy and anything that has to do with fitness, but recently I have been trying to start and change my ways. Here's what I have been doing to stay healthy this summer and what I hope to continue doing. Plus, here are a few ideas on ways to stay healthy that I will hopefully try soon!

Breakfast: I have been loving to eat a banana and peanut butter, yogurt and some almonds for breakfast. This sounds like a lot, but honestly it keeps me full for a super long time. Enough to wait for lunch later! It also is super good for you! The banana provides potassium and keeps you full for long, the peanut butter gives protein, the yogurt gives you calcium and the almonds give you more protein! It is really delicious and keeps me full!

Lunch: I have been pretty bad about going out to eat lately, because I've been doing it constantly. But, there are still ways to cut back on the bad stuff while eating out. Many menus lately have the nutrition facts right on it so you should definitely check that out before you eat something.

Dinner: If I'm eating at home, my dinner is usually pretty balanced. It usually consists of some sort of meat/fish/poultry and a vegetable and then usually something else. But, with summer here and everyone running about, be sure that you attempt to eat a balanced dinner so that you aren't starving and eating a bunch of junk later! Also, if you can have family meals! Family meals are way better for a kid, if you remember those ABC Family commercials about eating at the family table, and they give you a chance to converse with your family and talk about your day.

1. Stick with water! Soda/Pop, although I drink it so much, is so terrible for your health and your teeth. I've definitely been trying to cut back on my soda/pop intake. But everything in moderation.
2. Everything in moderation. This rule is so hard for me to follow because I absolutely love sweets. But, in all honesty, if you just eat one cookie, you can be satisfied. You don't need 20 cookies! This is a rule that I've been trying to abide by recently, but it's very difficult. So, don't give up!
3. Stay safe! Never diet to the extreme. Dieting to me is really never an effective way to be healthy. Being healthy isn't about being skinny and having "the perfect body". Being healthy is about feeling good inside and out. By putting in what your body needs so it gives you energy out!

I feel like also if I've been eating healthy I'm a lot more energized and, honestly, I'm more happy! If y'all are looking for some workouts here are some of my ideas.

1. ABS-These are a big thing for me in the summer to have a flat stomach. Usually I do crunches, bicycles, planks, etc.
2. TONED ARMS-Push ups, arm circles, pull ups, etc.
3. LEGS-Leg lifts, leg circles, middle splits while laying on your back and just keep bringing your legs up and down, leg lifts while flat back--works your legs and your tummy.

Hope you enjoy this post about fitness! Here are some pins to pinspire you to get fit and healthy for this summer. But, keep in mind. Being fit is NOT just being skinny! While I think that maintaining a steady and healthy weight is important, it is not important to be stick skinny at all! Being fit is being healthy and as long as you feel beautiful, healthy, energized and confident, you are!

P.S. Vlog/Haul Video coming soon!!!

I'm Done!

It's #summertime and I'm ready to party! My last finals were somewhat stressful, but I'm finally done and summer is here. I literally cannot believe that the school year is over, and although I complained basically the entire year, this year was a pretty decent school year. I am definitely not satisfied with my actual school, but I met a ton of of new people and made a lot of new friends. Here's a little re-cap to my school-year as a whole.

Being on Drill Team was such a blast-that's like Poms at my school. I was on JV this year, but am hoping to make Varsity this year! Drill lasts two seasons so there are pictures from football and basketball season.

This was from Homecoming, which also happened to be my birthday, and we just got a big group of girls to all go together. The dance was sort of a bust, but the sleepover after was so much fun!

This picture is on Halloween which was so fun! Here's the picture from left to right and what each person was: Lucy, baby; Elyse, Flo; Colleen, Barbie; Paige, Barbie; Jilly, Eeyore; Me (Katelyn), Minnie Mouse; Grace, baby; Brianne, Velma.

This was from Jingle Bash in January (I think...). It was so much fun and we had great seats. The only annoying thing was we were sitting around for like an hour waiting for Justin Bieber, but the concert was so much fun. Our faves were Justin Bieber, Psy, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Pitbull. All of the artists were great though! Left to right: Me (Katelyn), Paige, and Ava. Not pictured: Grace who scored us the tickets!

This is a picture of my sister (Kristen) and I when we went to Alabama to see the University of Alabama. Roll tide! My sister was planning on attending there in the fall, but decided on Indiana instead.

I was on the badminton team at my school this year and this was a not-so-happy picture of Paige and I after we lost our matches at conference.

This year has been really fun, but quite exhausting and I definitely need a summer break to catch up on my Z's and get some color on my skin. I'm so pumped to have a great summer. I hope y'all have an amazing summer too! Check back on my schedule page here to see what I will be posting on a daily basis. Thanks so much for reading. Happy summer to you all!

XOXO, Kate
